Carbon Fiber is the traditional black bi-lateral carbon fiber weave that you can see across all of our instruments since the beginning of KLOS. The sleek and defining "carbon fiber" style.
Carbon Timber is a nickel-infused carbon fiber that's made to emulate the look of a wooden instrument with each instrument having their own one-of-a-kind pattern. This material offers the look of wood but maintains the benefits of carbon fiber.
It depends on the stock. Refurbished instruments aren't planned, per se, but occasionally Carbon Timber instruments do appear as refurbished. If you see one at a special discount, there is no guarantee it will stick around.
They can be, but more often than not, refurbished instruments have some sort of slight factory defects. If we do get a returned instrument, it will go back through QA to ensure the instrument plays to the KLŌS standard.
Refurbished inventory is random, and there isn't a guarantee your desired instrument will still have a discounted refurbished model.
