The action is almost like an electric guitar. It is low and sweet. I am also impressed with the tone and build quality. Excellent all around!

It has become my everyday play. I was switching between another high-end custom uke I have and the KLลŒS, and everytime I returned to the KLลŒS.

The uke is beautiful and it plays very well. Punchy but yet full throated. Intonation is spot on and it is really a joy to hold and play.

FAQs

Carbon Fiber is the traditional black bi-lateral carbon fiber weave that you can see across all of our instruments since the beginning of KLOS. The sleek and defining "carbon fiber" style.

Carbon Timber is a nickel-infused carbon fiber that's made to emulate the look of a wooden instrument with each instrument having their own one-of-a-kind pattern. This material offers the look of wood but maintains the benefits of carbon fiber.

Hybrid ukuleles feature a mahogany neck with carbon fiber stiffening rods for extra durability, while Full Carbon ukuleles feature a fully carbon fiber construction. Full Carbon instruments offer more durability and vibrant sound due to the sound vibrating through the same material as opposed to two different ones.

We offer a Fishman Kula pickup system for our ukuleles.

Yes! We offer a side sound port upgrade for every ukulele but the 8-String.

The G string is instead tuned an octave lower, so the strings go in a straight ascending order: G (low) - C - E - A. This requires a thicker, wound string to produce that lower pitch properly (a regular nylon string tuned that low would be too floppy and buzzy).

Soprano Ukuleles are currently in development. If you're interested in a KLลŒS Soprano ukulele, please fill out the form on our coming soon page.

We refer to our B-Stock instruments as "Refurbished" instruments, and may have minor cosmetic flaws, but are just as durable and sound just as good as a any other KLOS instrument. At some point in the production process, a component on the instrument may have been blemished. This could show up as a scuff, dent, a slight wave in the carbon fiber weave, or another minor mark. All KLลŒS Refurbished Instruments are backed by the same 30-day money back guarantee as well as the lifetime warranty given to our brand new instruments.
