Love this instrument. Tone is unmatched, it sounds and comes alive the way handcrafted 10k+ wooden guitars do.

I pulled this thing out of the box at a bar, assembled it, and played a set. The sound is incredible and crisp. The action was perfect (zero buzzing) and the stainless steel frets are very nice touch.

I have a Martin acoustic electric that I love, but it is so temperamental with temperature and humidity. No so with this one. I have not put it back in the bag since I got it

I am very happy to own this guitar. It has exceeded my expectations about carbon fiber material use for musical instruments. In fact, I think it is the building material of future.

The projection is phenomenal for a guitar of its size (or for a guitar of any size, for that matter), and the tone is rich and clear across the range of the instrument.

FAQs

Carbon Fiber is the traditional black bi-lateral carbon fiber weave that you can see across all of our instruments since the beginning of KLOS. The sleek and defining "carbon fiber" style.

Carbon Timber is a nickel-infused carbon fiber that's made to emulate the look of a wooden instrument with each instrument having their own one-of-a-kind pattern. This material offers the look of wood but maintains the benefits of carbon fiber.

Hybrid ukuleles feature a mahogany neck with carbon fiber stiffening rods for extra durability, while Full Carbon ukuleles feature a fully carbon fiber construction. Full Carbon instruments offer more durability and vibrant sound due to the sound vibrating through the same material as opposed to two different ones.

For Hybrid models, we offer a Presys VT pickup.

For Full Carbon instruments, we offer Presys VT as a default acoustic-electric, as well as the option to upgrade to a K&K Mini Pure, LR Baggs Anthem, Presys+ or a HyVibe Smart Pickup.

Yes! We offer a side sound port upgrade for every Full Carbon guitar.

Yes! Because of the added stability, our carbon fiber instruments can easily handle the added string tension from a heavier gauge string. You will need to replace the nut with something more custom in order for the strings to be properly set.

Full Carbon models feature a fully carbon fiber neck with a composite ebony fretboard (similar to richlite). All acoustic guitars still feature a truss rod to adjust action, but it is not necessary for stability.

We refer to our B-Stock instruments as "Refurbished" instruments, and may have minor cosmetic flaws, but are just as durable and sound just as good as a any other KLOS instrument. At some point in the production process, a component on the instrument may have been blemished. This could show up as a scuff, dent, a slight wave in the carbon fiber weave, or another minor mark. All KLลŒS Refurbished Instruments are backed by the same 30-day money back guarantee as well as the lifetime warranty given to our brand new instruments.
