BIG SOUND FROM A SMALL PACKAGE
Beautifully Resonant Tone
Carbon fiber gives our ukuleles a bright, clear tone that will upgrade the way you play forever.
RUGGED CARBON FIBER
Weather Proof, Damage Proof
Never compromise the safety of your instrument. Our instruments are resistant to temperature, humidity, warping, and fall damage.

Balanced design, hand leveled
Gorgeous with Great Handling
This ukulele is part of our hybrid series, which means it has a removable wooden neck that attaches securely to the carbon fiber body with strong machine screws and metal inserts.
The neck has carbon stiffening rods inlaid along the length, so your Hybrid series neck will be much more resistant to twisting and warping than any other wooden neck on the market.
Every neck is hand-leveled and filed to exacting tolerances by our KLŌS-certified instrument technicians in Provo, Utah.
Best 8-string tuners on the market
Easy to Tune, Easy to Maintain
Other 8-string ukulele headstocks can easily unbalance the instrument since ukes are light and tuners are heavy. We use best-in-class, purpose built Graph Tech Ratio tuners on our 8-string build to deliver easy, quick tuning that won't slip or skip

Compact, strong, dialed
KLŌS Headstock
Our proprietary KLŌS Minimalist headstocks are right at home on the 8-string uke, since they combine our extensively tested string break angle with a compact design that increases durability and reduces weak points
Polished
Finishing Touches
The onboard Fishman Kula preamp system (with integrated tuner) makes it easy to plug into an amplifier to practice, play live music, or record.
This ukulele is strung with D’Addario clear nylon strings, and all of our instruments are strung, tuned, tested, and inspected before they leave our shop.

Simple tuning
How to Tune an 8-String
The tuning is easy to learn, since it’s the same GCEA tuning that you’re used to and the additional strings are doubled (so, GGCCEEAA). The G and C doubled strings are tuned an octave apart, and the E and A strings are tuned in unison. The easiest way to describe the resulting sound is a cross between a ukulele and a mandolin, and the greater volume and feel can sound like two ukuleles playing in harmony.
Sleek and unique
Love the look of the uke, the tuning machines, and the EQ. Will be using this uke to record music and more.

Very unique
Great build quality and has a unique sound. Very lightweight and feels good in the hands. Love the quality-of-life features like a built-in tuner and piezo pickup. While the 8-string sound isn't for everyone, it still sounds superb.

Excellent for rhythm tunes!
Very wholesome sound that is an absolute pleasure to play chords on. A little more difficult to play single notes, but perhaps I’ll start trying with a pick.

Carbon fiber- more than a gimmick
Often playing alternate material instruments I have found you pay more for the uniqueness of the piece than the functionality of it. That’s not so with this uke. It sounds and plays like a dream. I’m not a big fan of pick ups on acoustic instruments but this one makes it work. The pickup/tuner combo is a nice addition. Very easy to use. If you’re into buying good instruments then this best be on your list.

Takes the Tenor Ukulele to a Whole New Level
Hadn’t heard much of 8-string ukuleles until I found KLOS’ take on it, but I am beyond impressed. The strings have plenty of color and great sound, making it one of the best ukuleles I’ve ever heard acoustically, and the power it has when plugging it into an amp makes it even better. Not to mention it looks great. Would love to see a full carbon version soon!

Easiest playing, comfortable 8 string ukulele that I own. And it looks like a piece of art.
I finally received my KLOS 8 string carbon fiber ukulele. Thank goodness USPS delivered on Labor Day. I have to give 5 stars to Pat for his excellent customer service. I had a hard time getting the discount, but he helped me with that, thanks Pat. I already owned 2 KLOS carbon fiber ukuleles. A full carbon acoustic and a Hybrid deluxe tenor and they sound really good. I have had a lot of compliments on the looks, sound and playability of the ukuleles not to mention the durability. I show people the video of it being run over by a Prius and they can't believe it. The first thing I noticed about the 8 string was the wooden neck. I wish it was black carbon but it still looks beautiful. Then I noticed the height of the high and low octave strings. It's a little offset. The higher octave is a little lower on height. This makes it easier for tuning and actually for playing chords and fingerpicking. I played it for an hour after I tuned it. Tuning was a breeze as it has a built in tuner and it also has a electric pick up. I have a Kamaka 100 anniversary special edition 8 string that I want to keep in pristine condition so I don't play it much and I have played Lanikai and Luna 8 string ukuleles. They are all very nice ukuleles in their own right but I really enjoy playing the KLOS. I did hook it up to my amp to check the electronics and I was very happy with the sound of the ukulele. It sounds awesome. I really recommend this ukulele. I don't think you will be disappointed. I didn't find any reviews prior to buying this 8 string so I tried to give a thorough review of this ukulele. I'm very happy with this purchase.
