Carbon Timber is a nickel-infused unilateral carbon fiber weave that's made to emulate the look of wood.
Carbon Timber has a separate resonance than carbon fiber, and produces a warmer tone more similar to the sound of a wooden instrument.
Each Carbon Timber instrument is uniquely woven with a one-of-a-kind pattern. No two instruments will look the same.
The Carbon Timber upgrade is only available for Full Carbon instruments.

Never left behind

Designed to be out

KLŌS guitars don't need to be coddled. With temperature and humidity having no effect on carbon fiber, a KLOS is designed to stay out of the case, ready to be played at all times.

Discover Carbon Fiber

Full Sized

Weighing just less than 4 lbs. and featuring a detachable neck, this 3/4 sized dreadnought guitar offers the best of both worlds: booming tones wherever you go.

Durable

Carbon fiber is extremely resistant to temperature and humidity, so our guitars stay in-tune longer and won't warp, bend or crack in different climates. You'll never have to tune in-between songs for the rest of your life.

Familiar

KLOS travel guitars feature a full scale length so that no matter where you are, you can pick it up and instantly feel right at home. We utilize our state-of-the-art PLEK machine to reach that perfect point.

carbon double top

A proprietary design that sandwiches closed cell foam between two carbon fiber soundboards. When coupled with our negative bracing, this technique improves your instruments strength and flexibility as well as enhances your music's volume, tone and sustain.

Impressive

Perfectly Playable

Low action and precision filed frets make a guitar that's fun to pick-up-and-play.

DRIVEN BY INNOVATION

Built from Tradition

We're taking classic instrument design philosophy and injecting vision of the future, making instruments you won't want to leave behind.

Materials

Your choice between two expertly crafted carbon fiber materials.

BLACK CARBON FIBER TWILL

Our traditional black bi-lateral carbon fiber weave that you can see across all of our instruments since the beginning of KLOS. The sleek and defining "carbon fiber" style.

CARBON TIMBER

Like the look of wood but want the benefits of carbon fiber? Nickel-infused carbon fiber that's made to emulate the look of a wooden instrument with each instrument having their own one-of-a-kind pattern. Ideal for the traditionalist on the outside, but innovator on the inside.

Pickups

Whether you're looking for no hassle or full control, we've got you covered.

ACTIVE

Presys VT

An undersaddle piezo pickup for the bridge position, featuring a soundhole mounted preamp with rotary controls for Volume and Tone. The Presys VT delivers a dynamic and natural sound, and features two controls, making it possible to change the volume and tone.

LR Baggs Anthem

The Anthem has all of the essential tools in one complete system. The feather-weight preamp and controls include: volume, mix, phase and a battery check. A balanced frequency response with excellent clarity offers the purest sound you have ever heard amplified.

HyVibe Smart Pickup

The HyVibe System revolutionizes guitar play by making the instrument an amplifier with features like an FX processor for effects such as reverb and distortion, a looper, and the HyVibe Mobile App for creating effect banks and EQ settings. It turns the guitar into a Bluetooth speaker for streaming, includes standard jacks, a long-lasting Lithium-ion battery, and essential tools like a tuner and metronome, enhancing musical expression.

PASSIVE

K&K Mini Pure

A passive piezo pickup that rests below the bridge and provides the perfect balance of sound, picking up all the strings without sounding harsh or percussive and "listening" to the sound board to amplify the unique characteristics of your guitar. The result is a warm, full-range signal that represents the true character of your guitar.
