Masato Tachi, a Japanese-born guitarist/ ukulelist, holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Colorado State University. He has worked with children with disabilities for over a decade. Last ten years, he has been teaching guitar and ukulele in the Phoenix, AZ area. A classically trained guitarist, he has adapted his technique to ukulele. He strives to bring ukulele playing to the highest level musically through his arrangements, instructions, and directing ensembles. An active performer, Masato is a regular performer at folk festivals all over Arizona, senior living facilities, and many other settings. He also frequently posts his videos on social media, where he demonstrates his original arrangements, as well as rarely recorded materials.
