NEVER LEFT BEHIND
Designed to stay out of the case

While most high end guitars need to be kept in a case with a humidifier and babied, this guitar was designed to stay out of the case, ready to play at all times. KLŌS Acoustic guitars are durable, with temperature and humidity having no effect on carbon fiber. Our mission is to make guitars that are never left behind. Now with a KLŌS, you can take your guitar with you and have the piece of mind that it’s durable and reliable.

DURABLE AND RUGGED
Discover Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is significantly more durable than wood, and more resilient to dents, cracking and the elements. While a carbon fiber guitar is still an instrument that deserves respect and love, at KLŌS we believe that it should be treated more like a piece of gear that is never left behind.

METICULOUS PRECISION
Amazing Playability

Achieving the perfect playability is an art, and that’s what makes a ukulele easy to play. The nut, frets and bridge all have an influence on the string playability, getting them all to work together perfectly is what makes a ukulele feel like home. Here at KLŌS, we take playability very seriously. That’s why we put a lot of attention into leveling the frets, filing the nuts and adjusting the saddles. Each ukulele then gets played up and down the neck by our inspectors to confirm it’s worthy to have a KLŌS logo and go out the door.

HOW DOES IT SOUND?
Beautiful Tone

How does a carbon fiber ukulele sound, compared to wood? If you do a blind test, most people can’t tell the difference. That being said, comparing carbon fiber to wood, there are a lot more variables that you can more precisely control to achieve a great sound, and that is exactly what we did.

LOCALLY MADE
Ships from our factory near Salt Lake City, Utah

We are proud to have our factory located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, which was the original inspiration for combining adventure with guitars. We are proud to do the design, assembly, and most of the building in our own factory in Utah, and we buy parts and materials from world renowned factories overseas.

OUR PEOPLE ARE OUR ADVANTAGE
Crafted with Care

A big question we ask ourselves is: which part of the guitar building process requires the most skill, and impacts the player the most? The first half or the second half? Our answer: the second half. So we outsource some parts and materials (the first half), and keep the second half of the manufacturing process in house, and do it ourselves. This allows us to scale as a company and focus on building quality instruments that are incredible to play.

ENGINEERED TO OUTLAST
Neck Features

The fretboard on the neck is a composite synthetic ebony which does not expand or contract with temperature fluctuation, humidity changes or with time. That means you will never have issues with sharp frets, and your great, great grandchildren won’t either. The beautiful ebony-like fretboard is dense, durable and smooth.

STRESS-TESTED FOR REAL ADVENTURES
KLŌS One Piece Carbon Fiber Ukulele

The KLŌS Full Carbon Ukulele is the pinnacle of modern technology and materials applied to ukuleles. The one piece design is made from a singular piece of carbon fiber that offers the ultimate ukulele experience. It’s designed to sound good, feel good, and be reliable, so you can rest assured that you have the strongest ukulele in the world.

FOR JOURNEYS LARGE AND SMALL
KLOS Uke gig bag

The gig bag materials are made from the same stuff that camping backpacks are made out of, making it durable and reliable. With the ukulele itself being very durable, a traditional hard case is not as necessary for most day to day use, making the KLOS soft case gig bag is the perfect choice for the KLOS ukulele.

COMPACT AND ICONIC
Headstock Details

The headstock is a compact shape, making the overall length of the neck shorter. It makes tuning your strings just as comfortable, yet feel lighter. The tuners are the heaviest part of the neck, so keeping the weight of the tuners down, and having a lightweight carbon neck will make ukulele playing for hours even more enjoyable.

The headstock break angle is 11 degrees, making it the optimal angle to have the perfect string force on the nut. This lowers the friction of the string on the nut, which lowers the chances of your strings going out of tune on their own, and makes tuning your strings more precise. When you look at the neck from a front view, you will also see that the strings go in almost a straight line, which also lowers the friction on the nut, which also helps create optimal tuning.
