Video Reviews and Demos
While most high end guitars need to be kept in a case and babied, this guitar was designed to stay out of the case, ready to play at all times. The KLOS Electric guitar is durable, with temperature and humidity having no effect.

Durable, reliable, and carefree. This carbon fiber neck is the ultimate electric guitar neck, with a composite ebony fretboard, minimalistic light weight headstock, fully adjustable truss rod, thin heel, detachable for travel, and perfectly round profile, it’s hard to think of anything more you could ask for.

The bolt-on detachable neck is not the primary purpose of the guitar, but it is a nice feature that is great in those moments when you need to put it in a suitcase or you are in a crunch for space. This guitar is not designed to be a travel guitar, it’s designed to be your go-to electric guitar. Since guitars in general are very portable, making them durable and easy to travel with is naturally the best solution.
While plastic pickguards have been reliable and used for decades by many guitar brands, the KLOS carbon fiber pickguard takes the concept of a pickguard to a whole new level. Having a fully loaded pickguard has a lot of benefits. With all the knobs, switches, and pickups, wired together, it makes it easier to manufacture, and allows the end user to make future customizations a breeze. Now with having the KLOS pickguard being carbon fiber, we introduce the best of both worlds, being convenient, and having the superior look and feel.

The perfect blend of performance and light weight. The aluminum body is machined from a solid block making it lightweight with precision quality. The saddles are individually machined out of brass to give the optimal sustain and sound transfer. The saddle screws are precisely designed shorter so they feel comfortable and don’t dig into your palm. The hardtail, string through body design provides the downward string pressure for the saddles, bridge, and body. This bridge is as premium as it gets.

The KLOS Pro Knobs are individually machined out of lightweight aluminum, resulting in a premium feel and unique style. They come in two different colors, the natural aluminum with a black indicator line, or the black coated aluminum with a white line. The color of the aluminum knob will match the color of the pickup.

The KLOS electric and bass body comes in 2 wood options, Okoume, and Ash, both of which are superior choices for a solid body guitar.
Ash is used for it’s high density, strength, and the beauty of it’s wood grain. Okoume is used because of its extreme similarities to mahogany, and while mahogany is currently becoming an endangered species of wood, Okoume is an excellent choice for it being a lightweight hardwood, and being unbelievably similar to mahogany for both tone and looks. Okoume, like mahogany, is less heavy than Ash, and is often chosen by many guitarists for this reason.

We are proud to have our factory located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, which was the original inspiration for combining adventure with guitars. We are proud to do the design, assembly, and most of the building in our own factory in Utah, and we buy parts and materials from world renowned factories overseas. A big question we ask ourselves is: which part of the guitar building process requires the most skill, and impacts the player the most? The first half or the second half? Our answer: the second half. So we outsource some parts and materials (the first half), and keep the second half of the manufacturing process in house, and do it ourselves. This allows us to scale as a company and focus on building quality instruments that are incredible to play and listen to, which is our main goal.

The patented KLOS Convert Gig Bag, has the unique feature of having 2 modes of operation. It works as a standard gig bag when the guitar is fully assembled, and also when the neck is detached, unbolted and collapsed. That’s right, the same bag works for when the guitar is folded and when it’s fully assembled. When the neck is detached, the neck goes in the neck sleeve, on the side of the folded gig bag. The gig bag materials are made from the same stuff that camping backpacks are made out of, making it durable and reliable. With the guitar itself being very durable, a traditional hard case is not as necessary for most day to day use, making the KLOS soft case gig bag is the perfect choice for the KLOS guitar.
These blackout pickups have a flavor of traditional humbuckers with a modern touch. Durable injection molded casing with epoxy sealed internals, these pickus produce an articulate sound with a responsive feel. They can easily handle a wide range of tone from clean and quiet, to aggressive drive. (Passive means that they don’t use a battery). Having 4 knob is also an option as an add-on (2 volume, 2 tone).

Original and totally re-imagined, Fishman Fluence pickups have 3 voicings, which is like having 3 guitars packed into 1, resulting in a wide range of tones that can play any genre. It’s thanks to the patented new technology that doesn’t use wire coils. The Fishman Fluence are free from hum and noise, even with the single coil voicing. The controls have the Push Pull knobs to change the voicings, and a 3 way switch to choose the pickup. Standard wiring is with 2 knobs (1 Volume, and 1 Tone, The volume is a push-pull for single coil, the Tone is push-pull for voicing change). Having 4 knob is also an option as an add-on (2 volume, 2 tone, both volume knobs are push-pull).
One of the greatest design features of the KLOS electric and bass, is that you can easily customize the pickguard to fit any pickups and any knob configuration you want, and we will cut the pickguard and do the wiring. For musicians that are very set on a certain type of pickup, or knob configuration, we will cut the pickguard on our CNC, and solder all the wires and pots, and build you exactly what you want. If you ever want a new pickguard setup in the future, the KLOS carbon pickguard can be easily swapped out for a custom cut pickguard to fit any pickup shape, position, and number of knobs. No need to buy a completely new guitar, just because you want different pickups and knobs. (With this option, you provide the pickups, pots, switch, and exact wiring diagram)

The 22 frets neck with a 24.75 in scale length is what comes standard, and is our favorite choice, but you can choose the longer neck with 24 frets and a 25.5 in scale length. The shorter scale length has the frets slightly closer to each other, and allows the strings to have less tension, than the longer scale length. Both sizes are very common, it’s just a matter of preference for some.
An electric guitar neck neck is long and thin, which is why it is even more important that it is more strong, lighter and reliable than any wood neck.
The Heel of the neck is the same thickness of the neck itself which is not possible with wood. This makes the neck feel the same as you play in the higher frets. This design achieves that seamless feel similar to a one piece body and neck.
The most common place for a wood neck to break is where the neck meets the headstock. With a carbon neck, this position is equally as strong as any other part of the neck, so you can rest assured that you have the strongest neck in the world.

The carbon neck has a truss rod like most wood guitar necks, but it’s not for the purpose of strength, it’s for the purpose of adjusting the bow of the neck to the exact preference of every player. We adjust the truss rod to the most popular neck relief in our factory , but it can be easily adjusted by every musician with the included wrench.
The neck is a detachable neck that makes it easy to disassemble into a carry-on bag or suitcase. It is attached with 4 screws, like most bolt-on wood necks, but the KLOS carbon neck has metal threaded inserts, and uses machine screws specifically designed to make the neck removable. With a removable neck, traveling with the guitar as a carry on, or putting the guitar in a standard size suitcase is more easy than ever.
The fretboard on the neck is a composite synthetic ebony which does not expand or contract with temperature or humidity changes, or with time, which means You will never have sharp fret issues, and your great great grand children won’t either. The beautiful ebony-like fretboard is dense, durable and smooth.

The headstock is a compact shape, making the overall length of the neck shorter, with a 3+3 tuner pattern that still has the same spacing as a 6 in a row, making tuning your strings just as comfortable, yet feel lighter. The tuners are the heaviest part of the neck, so keeping the weight of the tuners as close to the body as possible, and having a lightweight carbon neck will make guitar playing for hours even more enjoyable.
The headstock break angle is 11 degrees, making it the optimal angle to have the perfect string force on the nut. This lowers the friction of the string on the nut, which lowers the chances of your strings going out of tune on their own, and makes tuning your strings more precise. When you look at the neck from a front view, you will also see that the strings go in almost a straight line, which also lowers the friction on the nut, which also helps create optimal tuning.
