The KLOS acoustic and acoustic-electric full size guitars are durable, lightweight, and sound incredible. We use a body that's on the smaller end of the dreadnought size range to provide a familiar and portable guitar that feels amazing in your hands.

Our B-Stock instruments are merely cosmetically flawed. They are just as durable and sound just as good as a mint condition instrument. At some point in the production process, a component on the instrument was blemished. This could show up as a scuff, dent, a slight wave in the carbon fiber weave, or another minor blemish. We put the same care and attention to detail into assembling all of our instruments, regardless of condition. We will never compromise on build quality.

NEVER LEFT BEHIND
Designed to stay out of the case

While most high end guitars need to be kept in a case with a humidifier and babied, this guitar was designed to stay out of the case, ready to play at all times. KLŌS Acoustic guitars are durable, with temperature and humidity having no effect on carbon fiber. Our mission is to make guitars that are never left behind. Now with a KLŌS, you can take your guitar with you and have the piece of mind that it’s durable and reliable.

DURABLE AND RUGGED
Discover Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is significantly more durable than wood, and more resilient to dents, cracking and the elements. While a carbon fiber guitar is still an instrument that deserves respect and love, at KLŌS we believe that it should be treated more like a piece of gear that is never left behind.

METICULOUS PRECISION
Amazing Playability

Achieving the perfect playability is an art, and that’s what makes a guitar easy to play. The nut, frets, truss rod, and bridge, all have an influence on the string playability, getting them all to work together perfectly is what makes a guitar feel like home. Here at KLŌS we take playability very seriously, that’s why we put a lot of attention into leveling the frets, filing the nuts, and adjusting the saddles. Each guitar then gets played up and down the neck by our inspectors to confirm it’s worthy to have a KLŌS logo and go out the door.

HOW DOES IT SOUND?
Tone and Resonance

How does a carbon fiber guitar sound, compared to wood? If you do a blind test, most people can’t tell the difference. That being said, comparing carbon fiber to wood, there are a lot more variables that you can more precisely control to achieve a great sound, and that is exactly what we did.

LOCALLY MADE
Ships from our factory near Salt Lake City, Utah

We are proud to have our factory located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, which was the original inspiration for combining adventure with guitars. We are proud to do the design, assembly, and most of the building in our own factory in Utah, and we buy parts and materials from world renowned factories overseas.

OUR PEOPLE ARE OUR ADVANTAGE
Crafted with Care

A big question we ask ourselves is: which part of the guitar building process requires the most skill, and impacts the player the most? The first half or the second half? Our answer: the second half. So we outsource some parts and materials (the first half), and keep the second half of the manufacturing process in house, and do it ourselves. This allows us to scale as a company and focus on building quality instruments that are incredible to play.

RESONANT TONE
Do I want a Travel or Full Size?

Our KLŌS Acoustic Full Size guitar sounds like a great quality wood guitar, and the KLŌS Travel Size guitar sounds great but with a smaller sound. If you really want a great tone, we recommend you buy the full size guitar, if you want a small guitar for travel, but still a surprisingly loud sound, then you should get the travel guitar.

EXTRA PORTABLE
Detachable Neck

The bolt-on neck is one of the game-changing features of our guitars. It’s perfect for those moments when you need to put it in a suitcase or you are in a crunch for space. Since guitars in general are very portable, making them durable and easy to travel with is naturally the best solution. All our guitars have the detachable neck function.

The Hybrid wood necks, and the carbon necks have four metal threaded inserts that are permanently installed, in which the four bolts go into, allowing you to take the neck on and off an unlimited amount of times.

Bolt on Acoustic guitars are not very common because they are difficult to design out of wood, but with the KLŌS patented injection molded neck block, we were able to achieve incredible results and have all the benefits of a detachable neck on an acoustic guitar.

FOR JOURNEYS LARGE AND SMALL
KLŌS Convert gig bag

The patented KLŌS Convert Gig Bag has the unique feature of having 2 modes of operation. It works as a standard gig bag when the guitar is fully assembled, and also when the neck is detached, unbolted and collapsed. That’s right, the same bag works for when the guitar is folded and when it’s fully assembled. When the neck is detached, the neck goes in the neck sleeve, on the side of the folded gig bag.

The gig bag materials are made from the same stuff that camping backpacks are made out of, making it durable and reliable. With the guitar itself being very durable, a traditional hard case is not as necessary for most day to day use, making this soft case gig bag the perfect choice for the KLŌS guitar.

WOOD MEETS CARBON
Neck Features

The Hybrid models have a wood neck and a carbon fiber body. The main design principle comes from this question: what is the weakest link in a traditional wood guitar? The answer is: the body, because it is made out of thin wood that needs to resonate. So the KLŌS Hybrid was born by strengthening the weakest link. With a carbon fiber body you get excellent durability and resilience to temperature and humidity.

WOOD, REINFORCED
The KLŌS Hybrid Neck

The hybrid wood neck features a composite fretboard, carbon fiber stiffening rods, and a truss rod. The truss rod allows you to adjust the bow to achieve your exact preferences.  The carbon stiffening rods to provide an extra layer of protection against twisting and warping.

The fretboard on the neck is a composite synthetic ebony which does not expand or contract with temperature or humidity changes or with time. That means you will never have issues with sharp frets, and your great great grandchildren won’t either. The beautiful ebony-like fretboard is dense, durable and smooth. While the Hybrid Neck is significantly more resilient than a standard wood neck, it is still made out of wood, that being said, we recommend that you treat it with care the same way that you wood a regular wood neck. If you are looking for something even more rugged, our Full carbon series is the choice for you.

COMPACT AND ICONIC
Headstock Details

The headstock is a compact shape, making the overall length of the neck shorter, with a 3+3 tuner pattern that still has the same spacing as a 6 in a row, making tuning your strings just as comfortable, yet feel lighter. The tuners are the heaviest part of the neck, so keeping the weight of the tuners down, and having a lightweight neck, will make guitar playing for hours even more enjoyable.

We use a 0° headstock break angle, making it the optimal angle to have the perfect string force on the nut. This lowers the friction of the string on the nut, which lowers the chances of your strings going out of tune on their own, and makes tuning your strings more precise.
