Compare Full Size Guitars
I went into their Provo shop to compare travel sized vs full-sized options, which is maybe like a small concert sized guitar, and wood vs full carbon options. The full-sized guitar plays louder, as expected, which is what I was looking for since I don't play super loudly to begin with, but the tone on both guitars was great and better than I was hoping for. I'm impressed. The folks were super friendly and explained to me the process of putting them together while I waited to have a guitar converted to be used as acoustic-electric. I have since had the ability to plug it into my amp and it sounds great, not having any feedback where my Breedlove would. Overall, I am super happy with this purchase. The full carbon version plays and sounds great, which was important to me because I mainly bought this to travel with in different temperature extremes. I haven't had a chance yet to see how it holds up for this purpose, but I love going to this guitar just playing around the house.
I was very impressed with the customer service and the quality of my new nylon-string travel guitar. All my questions were answered promptly. Thank you very much!
Came quickly. No idea where the cosmetic flaw is on the instrument. Dark wood on back of neck looks great Sound is bright and well balanced. Perfect size couch guitar. Would have bought the upgraded version but didn’t want potential hassle of protecting amplification system during travel
I live in Colorado & spend a lot of time trying to keep my acoustic guitars from cracking or spliting. So not only is this a great travel guitar, I'm not afraid to leave it on a stand for daily playing and it sounds amazingly clear and loud for finger style playing. Glad I bought it, it may become my primary instrument.
Have owned a couple good Dreadnaught guitars, all victims of movers. Argh. I read about KLŌS Guitars, thought, "hey, perhaps a solution to the heartbreak of broken guitars", but then saw largest was fullsize. I was also concerned about the tone quality from non-wood carbon fiber. I happen to live within 10 miles of the factory, so I stopped by and tried one out. VERY impressed. Tone quality excellent, volume and dwell approached my favorite Dreadnaught (may it rest in peace), so I bought one of thembwith the built-in pickup. Have not used it on an amp yet, but loving my new old pastime! Also picked up stand, spare strings, and a digital tuner. While browsing I saw a demo of the soon available 8-string tenor Ukulele! So I pre-ordered one of those and cannot wait to try it out as well!
