A B-Stock instrument is merely cosmetically flawed. It is just as durable and beautiful sounding as a brand new instrument, however, throughout the manufacturing process, it has an imperfection that does not allow us to sell it as a perfect instrument. These imperfections are minor, ranging from a small scratch, a wave in the carbon fiber weave, a slight ding in the soundboard or neck, etc. Most people can’t even tell that there is an imperfection, but because we pay such careful attention to each detail, we are aware of them.

    Fit the bill

I wasn’t sure at first going from my wood uku, but I like the sound a lot. I have family members that play electric bass and drums and with the pick up I can be heard. Plus I don’t have to worry if my 4 yr old grandson wants to play. Nice to be able to travel with it too. I like how it strings are under the bridge.

    I’m in love

For one year, I kept pushing Klos to look for a European dealer. After more than a year, I decided to order it directly in the US and to pay for the high import costs. And was it worth it ? Yes, it was! Since a few weeks now, I am the proud owner of this unique Ukulele and it’s the only one I am playing on. After having changed the high G with a low G, I felt immediately in love with my KLOS ukulele. It’s great to hold, deep excellent volume, perfect action, and, yes, it also looks great. I hope KLOS will find soon a European dealer, so I can order my full carbon travel guitar. I’m a fan!

    Shiny and Black

The whole experience was positive. Short shipping time. Tuned up easily. Sounded great on the first strum. No regrets. It is a B-stock. Injuries are not an issue. B is for Black and shiny.

    Love this little beauty!

My ukulele came with high action. I watched some You Tube videos and filed the saddle down. I’m not a fan of nylon strings, so I put some nice fluorocarbons on. This little beauty really sings now and is comfortable to play. I love the rich resonant sounds. Easy, personable and wonderful communication with KLOS. And this B-stock uke is flawless to me.

    Cool Carbon Uke!

This ukulele is beautiful. I was impressed that the B Stock “defects” are virtually undetectable! Personally I wasn’t thrilled with the Stock Strings, switched them with D'Addario EJ99TLG Pro-Arté Carbon Ukulele Strings, Tenor Low G. To me now it sounds AWESOME! Even though this uke is indestructible, the gig bag seems cheaply made but is an “expensive “ add on. Overall GREAT UKE, Mahalo Klos!

Exceeded High Expectations in Every Way

I bought this on the spur of the moment early in the AM. I humidify another ukulele and a Venezuelan cuatro, and was ready to go that way with a custom instrument. Then I thought, "Screw this!" No more humidification. I have always loved the design aesthetic of the Klos, both the looks of the carbon fiber with the wood fretboard and the small headstock. (I know there are naysayers on that part.) It looks infinitely better in person and as a B-stock, I can't find the imperfection unless it is a slightly wavy weave on the backside of the instrument? It captures the attention of people who see it. The sound is resonant and bold with nice sustain. The ukulele feels like a much more expensive professional instrument. The purchase experience was fantastic. I had a minor billing issue and Kyle fixed it in minutes, not hours. My Klos will travel with me for a week at a beach in San Diego at the end of the month. An early morning decision paid off!
