Los Angeles, CA
At 11, Jimmy began plunking out notes on his mother’s acoustic. Later, he played covers and original music in bands ranging from metal to ska to pop-punk. Recently he graduated from the University of Southern California in Thornton’s Popular Music Program as a singer-songwriter where he began focusing on writing acoustic folk music. One time he set down his acoustic too hard and… split its side and so he wouldn’t dare bring his guitar outside. Now he is happy to have a KLOS he can take everywhere to “catch inspiration when it strikes.” Jimmy is establishing himself in the LA music scene with his poignant lyrics, his folk-filled chords and soulful voice. Check him out!
